Our curly soft Maple lumber is FAS grade, hand selected for clear color, grain structure and maximum figure from the finest Northern stock. Soft curly Maple lumber offers some of the best curly figure of all the Maple varieties. While curly soft Red or Silver Maple is indeed, a softer wood than the hard Rock or Sugar Maples, the Oaks and Walnuts, it is on a par with cherry in terms of its hardness and is a wood that is a treat to work and finish. One of the most beautiful hardwoods in North America, worthy of use in the finest furniture and woodworking projects!

All of our lumber is skip planed to allow us to grade and select lumber based upon quality. We will surface to desired thickness at time of sale for a small fee.
