Bocote is a beautiful wood, with varying colors from light to golden brown and variegated irregular darker markings. It can often exhibit figure similar to a birdseye" effect. Bocote offers a high luster, with uniform texture. It is easy to work, responds well to both hand and machine tools. It polishes to a very smooth finish and glues well. One of the most popular of all exotic woods.
